Wasted:

Wasted are experienced musicians who've have been around a while and now have an exciting new line up with a unique edge, mixing acoustic sounds with conventional rock to produce a varied repertoire. The band writes and performs their own material as well as stamping their unique mark on a few carefully chosen standards.

As you can probably tell from the list of band members there is something of a family connection within the band, (we'll let you figure out what that is at the gigs.)

The band specialises in generating an exciting live stage performance, it’s never boring when Wasted are on stage, just ask the regulars. (Thanks to all those who have been attending our gigs at the Jolly Bargeman in Ware every six weeks, you are very much appreciated.)

Band members:
Roger Akers: Lead guitar (also plays Harmonica, Mandolin and Banjo) singer/song writer.

Verna Akers: Bass guitar, vocalist.

Sue Akers: Vocalist, percussion.

Jez Chapman: Drums!

Paul Booth: Acoustic/Rhythm guitar, singer/song writer.

Gawain Akers: Percussionist.

The band writes and performs their own material and also covers artists such as KT Tunstall, R.E.M, Scissor Sisters, Dixie Chicks, Greenday, Dire Straits etc…
