Wasted has evolved into something very new and very different in 2012.

Brand new songs penned by Sue Akers and Dave Crook as well as Roger Akers have created an exiting new feel for the band and its music. Musical collaboration between the band members is taking them to new levels and Wasted Rhymes are going from strength to strength.

Having gone through the auditions for UK LIVE and UNSIGNED they are set to play the Regional finals on Sunday 8th April at the Bedford Corn Exchange, so starting the long road to the ultimate goal which is to play the O2 and start a real and positive musical journey. For this hard working Hertfordshire band things are starting to happen.

Roger Akers: Lead guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin and Banjo, singer/song writer.

Verna Akers: Bass guitar, vocalist.

Sue Akers: singer/song writer, percussion.

Dave Crook: song writer, Drums

Sue and Dave are new lyricists developing musical collaboration between all band members. The band write and perform their own material and also are known to play a few creative covers when required.
